Our Mission

The Factor Group was founded to address the gap in the marketplace in which our target clients have historically been underserved, overcharged, and even ill advised. As such, we are committed to making sophisticated service levels accessible to smaller companies because we believe that doing so will have a positive macro impact on the quality of life within our region. We target a minimum return 3.0x in realizable value and we have helped our clients achieve more than 20.0x in realized value to that end to date.

Our team’s experience within the business lifecycle spans from security origination to exit and maturity. That said, we are proven doers that have gotten it done at scale within publicly traded companies, growing middle market environments and startups that live and die by the choices they make. Moreover, we’ve done so at different points along the value chain within several industries. In summary, we are uniquely prepared to help our clients redress deficiencies within their current businesses, scale responsibly and thrive.

The Factor Group currently has two pillars- Finance and IT.


Finance

The foundation for the finance pillar are managed services that provide the full suite of financial accounting solutions- bookkeeping, trade payables and revenue management, payroll administration, treasury assistance, GAAP compliant GL reconciliations for bank / tax reporting and 1099 preparation. Above that foundational level is FP&A (financial planning and analysis)- this involves comprehensive financial modeling, business assessments, KPI / Metric identification and scorecard reporting that is used to drive business transformations and profitability. We also build VBA powered solutions for smaller businesses for the purpose of creating efficiencies within business processes.

The combination of those two pieces in place, whether provided by us or not, allows us to provide capstone level financial advisory services (fractional CFO) for businesses which includes M&A activities such as due diligence, pricing, marketing collateral, negotiation strategies, and transaction advisory. Beyond M&A, we assist with negotiation strategies used to maximize business outcomes and contractual value. We also assist with capital restructuring efforts in terms of marketing, negotiating and sourcing private and commercial financing solutions.

IT

Similarly, the IT pillar of the company is led by a full-stack developer that builds custom software solutions. The foundation of that pillar are managed cloud-based solutions for IT admin and Security management in which we offer Cybersecurity, software audits + consultation + implementation services, e-commerce solutions, analytics, cloud services, and IT help desk support.

Above that foundational level we build integrated data visualizations for businesses that provide holistic and targeted views of business segment performance. Additionally, we build and support websites, offer SEO optimization services and lead integration initiatives to empower seamless business performance and heightened intelligence with custom activity libraries.

We also offer full-stack development, UX design, and technical consulting for digital growth and marketing analytics.
